In the original, Dazai and Abidel’s whole goal seemed just a little bit understandable. Even when the MC allows the myriad gods to gain their Knowledge, they’re disheartened by the conflict the world experiences, thus the Law ending is just as valid as the Chaos. Hell, even in the original, Dazai at least tried to explain his POV. Now it’s just straight up evil because Dazai actively screws over his friends-actual friends this time-and is cruel for the sake of being cruel. I personally enjoy it, but man, it felt like a total gut punch.

We never see the world yoko and protag create so like...they could just make a world thats identical to tao's world. And tao's law ending seems to just be the same as the og game true neutral ending but with tao as the overseer instead of protag. I think the chaos ending would be more effective if it showed a world order thats drastically different than our own. Its really just faith in humanity vs thinking humanitybis a lost cause....but how will yoko's world be any different? Its like they erased their friends from existence for no real reason. Any world they create will have the same problems because chaos endings usually promote free will, and if they allow free will in their new world, humanity will just wind up evil again. Unless they establish order....like any law rep would want to do.....

So there's only law and chaos endings? I was confused cause my tokyo map marker was neutral right before tiamat but changed to chaos between fighting samael and mastema. Well I guess it already locked in before mastema cause hes only for primordial chaos ending....I guess I like the ending i got but I didn't like having to betray tao. I guess siding with leanan sidhe, anansi, and adramelech did me in but that's just cause I wanted those demons to join me...

Is there a difference between chaos and primordial chaos? I got an achievement that said primordial chaos, so I assume that's what I got. Or is that just what they call the vengeance chaos ending? I'm pretty sure I did every sidequest besides the dlc, I was neutral before fighting samael and was chaos sometime between samael and mastema....but this just seems like the same ending I got
